| Candida albicans is a form of form of yeast. Found in approximately 80% of the human population it usually doesn’t cause any harm, although overgrowth results in candidiasis. Candidiasis is often observed in immunocompromised individuals. Symptoms vary but include bloating, abdominal distension, food intolerances but also profound tiredness, depression, anxiety, lack of self confidence, for example.
