Prof. Vera Stejskal
Prof. Stejskal is the inventor of the MELISA® test and holder of its patent and trademark. She was formerly head of Immunotoxicology at Astra Pharmaceuticals (now known as AstraZeneca), where she played a key role developing Losec, Astra's multi-billion-dollar stomach ulcer drug. She left Astra in 1996 to concentrate full-time on MELISA® and is now Associate Professor of Immunology at University of Stockholm and First Medical Faculty, Charles University, Prague. She has written numerous articles on metal allergy and gives frequent lectures. She has been an adviser to the World Health Organisation and in June 2002, was called as an expert witness to a US Congressional Committee looking into vaccine safety and thimerosal allergy.

Dr Romuald Hudecek, DDS
One of the world's leading experts in metal-free dentistry and amalgam removal, Dr Hudecek's private dental surgery in Uppsala, Sweden, attracts clients from around the world. For many years he has been affiliated with the Department of Clinical Metal Biology at Uppsala University Hospital.

Dr Birgitta Brunes, MD
Dr Brunes is a general practitioner who specializes in treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. She was herself diagnosed with MS, but overcame the condition and has published a book on her experience: "From Multiple Sclerosis to Better Health". She now lectures on MS, and methods to overcome it.

Dagmar Magnusson, D.D.S.
Graduated in 1981 from the Karolinska Institute (KI) in Stockholm and continued to increase her knowledge on dental materials, toxicology, CAD/CAM technique, implant prosthetic, hypnosis, etc. During her entire time as a dentist, Dr Magnusson has been interested in and worked with the problems regarding dental materials. This work has given her a broad clinical knowledge. She was also engaged as a reference dentist by the Swedish FK and has also been lecturing at the KI. In 1989 she was the first in Scandinavia to introduce the CAD/CAM technique - Cerec. Apart from having worked as a dentist, she has also been invited to lecture around the world.

Dr Jenny Stejskal, MD
Dr Stejskal is one of the first ever specialists in Anti-Aging Medicine in Scandinavia. In addition to research for the MELISA® Medica Foundation, she is conducting research on human growth hormone at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. She is currently specializing in General Medicine in Stockholm. She is the author of several papers on metal allergy.

Linda Nelson, BA
Linda Nelson lives in London and is CEO of MELISA Diagnostics Ltd, which markets the MELISA® test in Great Britain. Linda Nelson is also the webmaster of melisa.org and organizer of the international MELISA Study Groups.
