Accessing MELISA
It’s key that MELISA test is used as part of your diagnosis or treatment plan and not as the sole means of diagnosis. You should have a practitioner to refer you for MELISA testing.
Note that you should not be taking immunosuppressant medication, as this may affect your immune response. If it is not possible to stop medication, please reach out via our contact form HERE to see if there are any options for you.
MELISA testing is currently available through laboratories in Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Canada and Israel.
You can send samples for testing by courier; samples must be delivered to the lab within 48 hours after phlebotomy, by 12pm. The only recommended service is FedEx International Priority Express by 12 pm or DHL Medical Express.
For most clients, the most suitable option for shipping samples is the German lab. If you want more information on how to arrange MELISA in Germany, contact us via our contact form.
The laboratories in Switzerland and Canada accept samples from abroad, however, the capacity to process samples is limited. All tests must be scheduled in advance. If you are interested in shipping samples to these labs, please contact the laboratory directly for more information. You can find contact details HERE.
The laboratory in Spain only accepts samples originating from within the European Union. Testing can be arranged while travelling within the EU, or directly at the facility in Castellon city. For more information, contact us via our contact form.
The lab in Israel has only experience with providing MELISA for residents. If you want to ship samples to this facility or arrange testing directly in Tel Aviv, please contact the laboratory for more information.
